What to do if Bluetooth is not working
Bluetooth may not work for several reasons:
- Bluetooth module is not enabled on the device,
- Bluetooth drivers not installed,
- Bluetooth adapter is defective,
- The USB port of the PC does not work (when using a Bluetooth USB adapter, such as a flash drive).
Faults are fixed in two steps.
First you need to make sure that the Bluetooth module is properly connected, turned on and the system sees it. If necessary, move the Bluetooth of the USB adapter to another free port on your computer.
In the second step, you should download Broadcom Bluetooth for free (here), uninstall all Bluetooth drivers from computer and restart Windows. After installing the Bluetooth drivers, everything will work. Use known-good devices to test.
